Read Your Translation with Confidence
Translation has been around ever since Babel — and that’s not a problem for understanding God’s word. Even though the original Old Testament manuscripts are in Hebrew, and the New Testament manuscripts are in Greek, modern translations of the Bible give us access to the very words of God.
In fact, God planned for it to be that way. The same God who made different languages at Babel also commissioned his church to give the gospel to “all nations” (Matthew 28:19), including those that don’t speak Hebrew or Greek. So when you open your translated Bible, you can expect to hear God’s voice.
