Help My Unbelief

When you are reading your Bible early in the morning, and it’s quiet, and nobody else is up, and you read promises, and you read beautiful descriptions of Jesus and his work in the world and big descriptions of a magnificent God, don’t close your Bible and not say anything about your faith.
Say, “God, I believe. Help my unbelief. I believe. I believe this.” Think to yourself,
What would that mean if I believed it? What does it feel like to believe? What does belief look like? I don’t want to just read this word and walk into my job. I want to believe.
And you get up, and you believe into the kitchen, and you believe into the bathroom, and you believe onto the porch and onto the street and in the car and into the office — believing. “Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with believing (Galatians 3:5)?
