A New Sermon Series for the Fall
Sunday, October 4 we will begin a new fall series of morning messages based on the book of Malachi. It is the last book of the Old Testament. It has been some time since we have done an expository series on an Old Testament book, and I have been drawn to this prophet again and again as I thought and prayed about a manageable section of the Old Testament. The book will lead us right up through the end of the year and closes with texts remarkably suitable for the Advent season.
It will be interrupted for a great Missions Week on October 11 and 18 under the theme, "Is Anything Too Hard for God?"
Would you pray every week with me that God would give me insight into the truth of each passage and inspire me with spiritual wisdom and pastoral sensitivity for how to apply the truth to our situation? Pray that God would move unbelievers to repent and believe, and that the saints would be established and mobilized for witness and ministry.
