To be a Christian is to be not yet married. Whether you have been single your whole life, or happily married for decades, you are still waiting for the day when heaven will ring out,

For the Lord our God
     the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and exult
     and give him glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
     and his Bride has made herself ready. (Revelation 19:6–7)

That day not only guarantees a happily-ever-after future, but also transforms how you live today, in marriage or in singleness. If you are a Christian, God calls you to live like the best is yet to come — because it is.
