Ian & Larissa: Eight Twenty Eight
“For those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
“Eight Twenty Eight” holds a wealth of meaning for Ian and Larissa Murphy.
Ian’s father, who died of brain cancer, was born on August 28. Romans 8:28 is the verse God used so powerfully to sustain and hold them through Ian’s life-threatening and life-changing car accident. And now, August 28, 2014, is the release day of the book that tells their story, Eight Twenty Eight: When Love Didn’t Give Up. Through this book Ian and Larissa invite us into their lives again to proclaim the power and goodness of God in the midst of the darkest times.
Whether you’ve been encouraged by their story before, or you are just meeting them for the first time, we’d love to point you to the following resources, in addition to the book, as we all learn to go deeper into the bottomless truth of Romans 8:28, that “for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
