I am a police officer and on my breaks I go to these two websites for encouragement. Two of my children ages 6 and 10 now ask me to pray for them that they would not waste their lives because they want to live for Jesus. The preaching is a rare combination of hard, convicting truth and glorious, enduring hope that brings the Word beyond the mind and into the heart...such teaching is dissappointingly rare but greatly treasured. The fruits of the ministry, even hundreds of miles away, are deep and strong in compelling men to holiness and desire for exaltation of The One who alone is worth living and dying for. Thank you for your commitment to this ministry.

I have really been encouraged over the past 2 years by John's sermons which I have listened to on RA and now MP3. I also have purchased tapes, books and memory cards. I appreciate the audio sermons being available in MP3 format. I have made occasional donations specifically because of the availability of materials on-line. So I hope that you are able to continue that ministry.

The Lord has used brother John's ministry to strengthen and encourage me. I just finished reading "The Misery of Job and the Mercy of God" and was refreshed by it (as I expected to be). I want to take the opportunity and thank you for your ministry. For several months I have been reading the electronic Pipersermons and some articles and books I downloaded from your web site. This and some material from bible.org and from J.I. Packer helped me to grasp (at least in a much better way than before) the doctrine of the sovereignty of God. Desiring God was an eye-opener for me and it has a strong influence on my own preaching and teaching ministry in our local church in Vienna, Austria. It also changed my view of the importance of frontier missions.

How the enemy was accusing me of recent sins, failures, unworthiness to testify to God's saving and delivering power. God led me to look up 'grace' in your new web site and somehow led me to a sermon on the imputed righteousness of Christ--that righteousness that is mine this morning (and forever). Jesus Christ is standing before the Father in heaven this morning and He is all my righteousness. What utter joy to look away from myself and go forth in peace and security--and power--to proclaim this very truth from Romans. Tears of joy run down my face today. Thank you, thank you, thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal my Lord to me this morning. How beautiful and glorious He is!!!

I just wanted to tell you how much I thank God for your ministry and for the inspiration that Piper's material provides for me here in Germany. [If] Piper's "passion for the supremacy of God in all things" has challenged my former view of God, then it was a good struggle [that] I had to go through that helped me to read the Bible for all it's worth... And I now feel I've arrived at savoring what I formerly considered "hard truths" like election, predestination and God's own passion for His glory.
